Board Leadership

Strong board stewardship is the backbone of any nonprofit organization. But strong boards don’t happen by accident. They take the right training and the right connections. Metro Volunteers Board Leadership Connection (BLC) is a nationally acclaimed board leadership training and matching program that helps both individuals and agencies strengthen their board leadership skills and capacity to make board leadership experiences more rewarding, engaging and effective. Through a unique combination of agency and individual training, on-line profiling and database matching, we help civically-minded individuals connect with the agencies that need them while making the process easy and efficient
