both the volunteers and their organizations benefit
from giving of their time and talents.

A greater a sense of teamwork
Increased motivation, pride and engagement
Improved communication with and appreciation for
colleagues
Personal satisfaction for making a significant
impact in the community
Potential organizational benefits:*
Corporate citizenship makes a tangible
contribution to a companys bottom line
Employee volunteerism fits the traditions and
values of the company
Volunteerism results in an improved reputation and
image
Corporate citizenship is important to customers
Support of employee volunteerism helps to recruit
and retain employees
