If you are an individual interested in board service, you’ve come to the right place.

Board membership is an opportunity to connect the goals and aspirations of individuals to organizations making an impact on our society’s most pressing needs.  It is a chance to use your unique talents to help nonprofit organizations be more effective; it provides an environment for learning and sharpening leadership skills in the company of other committed men and women.

For individuals with little or no board experience, Metro Volunteers Board Leadership Connection will train you to serve as a board member and help you choose a board that is the right fit for your interests. For those with previous board service, this program will help you expand your capacity to govern effectively.

The cost to participate, for the first year*, in this innovative training and matching program is $99. *For each additional year that you participate in the program, you will only be charged a $35 Annual Renewal fee.

Step 3: The BLC Coordinator will contact you to provide access to create a profile

Step 4: Login or create your profile to search for and have agencies find you for Board service opportunities.
